In-home sessions are relaxed and unposed, focusing on real connection rather than perfect posing. I gently guide you when needed, but most of the session is about documenting your family naturally. This could be cuddling on the couch, feeding your baby, playing with your kids, and all the in-between moments that make up this beautiful season of life.
There’s no pressure for a perfect home or perfectly behaved children. Your home is simply the backdrop for your story.

What to Expect
In-home sessions are designed to feel easy, relaxed, and true to your family. Before your session, you'll receive a preparation guide with everything you need to know, including what to wear, how to prepare your space, and tips to help everyone feel comfortable and confident.
There is no need for a perfectly styled home or perfectly behaved children. We will use the areas of your home with the best natural light, and I'll gently guide you throughout the session while leaving plenty of room for genuine moments to unfold naturally.
Whether that means taking breaks to feed your baby, snuggling together on the couch, reading stories in the nursery, or simply slowing down and being present with one another, these sessions are all about documenting this season exactly as it is. My goal is for you to look back on these images years from now and remember not only what life looked like, but how it felt to be living it.
Sessions are held in Hamilton, Ancaster, Stoney Creek, Waterdown, Dundas, Burlington, Oakville, Grimsby and surrounding areas.

A little bit about me....
I'm Rose, the creative eye behind Little Rosebuds Photography, based right here in Ancaster, Ontario. For well over a decade, I've been passionately capturing newborns, maternity, and family moments with a touch of modern elegance and timeless charm.
Working with little ones isn't just a job for me; it's my absolute joy. There's something magical about preserving the innocence of babies, the energy of children, and the warmth of families in the simplest and most genuine way possible.
Since 2010, I've been dedicated to photographing newborns and babies, always prioritizing their safety and comfort above all else. I'm proud to be a Qualified Newborn Photographer certified by the Accredited Professional Newborn Photographers International. I average about 100 newborn sessions per year, so at the time of writing this, that means over 1500 newborns have been in my studio!
My passion and expertise have earned me national recognition in Newborn and Children's Portraiture with the Professional Photographers of Canada. You might have spotted my work in Hamilton Magazine or featured in The Hamilton Spectator, Toronto Star, CH Morning Live, and City TV News, among other esteemed publications.
In 2012, I was honoured with the Consumer's Choice Award for Best Photographer in Hamilton, and I've also received multiple Reader's Choice Awards with The Hamilton Spectator.
